You might want to trim your hairs if their long but they must be at leat 1\4 of an inch long so the wax can adhere to them...as for finding a good salon spa I suggest looking up some in your area that are highly reccomended and that might be on the pricey side you must make sure that the salon\ spa is clean and sanitory for example making sure there is a paper lining on the table or flatop you will be getting waxed on and that they change the paper lining in front of your eyes make sure the wax they are using is clean and is not to hot for it can seriously burn your private area another thing make sure their cosmetology or astetchian liscense is valid and in plain view for you to see, you must also make sure that they are wearing gloves and that the cloth and tools that they use are brand new...... as for the pain yes it does hurt but most salons offer a numbing cream that will lessen the pain for you and you might also want to take a pain killer such as advil or tylenol....another thing the more you wax the lesser the hair grows back fast and the less pain you will feel

I suggest calling a few salons in your area, to get a quote on price. What happens is the beautician will wears latex gloves for health reasons, they will trim the pubic hair to a certain size. Then they will put on the wax, the wax needs to be at a warm tempature as if it is boiling it will burn your delicate skin and will even leave a scar. Make sure you ask them if the wax is at the right tempature. They will then put on a cloth over the wax press down on it and then they will pull in the direction of growth.
It will hurt but only for a few moments. At the end you will have a clean smooth pubis. You may have to go back every three to four weeks to have it waxed again.
I have been advised to take two painkillers and a shot of tequila before hand, but I am also a wax virgin so I cant swear that works, but my friends highly recommend it.
I would go with hair removal cream, painfree and easy!
