Brazilian wax questions?

I gave myself a brazilian wax earlier today, but I鈥檓 pretty disappointed with the results to be honest. First of all, it still hurts, but I鈥檓 guessing that will probably be better by tomorrow. But it鈥檚 not all that smooth鈥︹€?like, it looks nice and hair free and all that, but when you actually touch it it鈥檚 not smooth. There are lots of little fine hairs that the wax hasn鈥檛 caught.

I don鈥檛 want to shave over it, because the whole point of waxing was so that it stayed hair free for longer, didn鈥檛 itch when it grew back, and to get rid of the irritation I get with waxing. Any ideas how I can get it smoother? And how long does it stay tender for? It feels as though the whole area is slightly bruised at the minute, not too sore, but a bit uncomfortable.

Also, since I鈥檝e done it I鈥檝e been really sensitive down there. Like if I move a certain way and the material of my knickers rubs against it I鈥檓 getting these sort of mini-orgasms!!! Will this go away once I get used to it?Brazilian wax questions?
It's probably a due to a problem with your technique, you just need to practice waxing your girly bits and things should do more smoothly (no pun intended, well perhaps slightly inteneded). I would go to a salon when the hair has grown back and pay close attention to what they do when they wax you - there might be something you are not doing.

Personally I have always shaved down there and although I need to do this every three days or so it takes only a couple of mins at most and I have only had any irritation with sh*tty economy razors.

The sensitivity will be heightened partially because you are thinking of that part of your body and partially because the hair will act as a barrier which when removed allows your vulva to touch things more closely - after a few days the senastion will reduce and things will be back to normal - take my advice and enjoy it while it lasts.

I hope things improve next time, just keep trying and you will eventually achieve the results you desire! Have a great day.Brazilian wax questions?
Enjoy it while it lasts! The orgasams I mean. It is quite common to bruise after waxingm usually goes after a day or so. Get a warm bath with no bubbles, just water.
It will hurt for a few days, then irritate when the hairs grow back and stick in you. Not as bad as shaving as the hairs are not cut! Wear cotton undies!
wohoo on the fun of after wish i could get that but i had waxing explained to me and the hair has to be a certain length before the wax can bacially get a grip on it so they will be there until they get long enough. but if it looks hair free and you only have basically a peach fuzz i would not worry about it.
I would never wax myself down there, I would go to a reputable salon where they can do it quickly and painlessly as possible, I would consult one and see what they say as it doesnt sound as if you did it properly, as for the sensitivity you're experiencing I would imagine that the skin is still on high alert from the waxing and any little movement is going to set it off, it will fade but be careful not to irritate it further
Try using an epilator!
lol, mini organsms, what you complaining about??

I would however suggest that you let if grow back a bit and then get it done professionally, you wont feel the same discomfort or feeling of bruising. As for the smaller finer hairs, if it was done correctly it would have removed these also, its all to do with the technique of ripping that bit of cloth off!!!!
I would apply a cool not freezing towel or even put an ST in the freezer for a while and put it in your knickers. It should relieve the bruising. For the missed bits I would say leave well alone.

In the morning shower/Bathe as usual but try holding a cold face cloth small towel over the tender bits.

Good luck.
i have had this done at a salon a few times and it is a lot quicker and pain free also they always get a better result, i have done it myself a few times using the veet hot wax pot but it REALLY hurt, (and i was there for an hour with the tweezers) the soreness will go down just use plenty of moisturiser down there, i don't know about these mini orgasms but i suggest you go to a salon next time, it only costs about 拢10 and they will give you all your after care advice too, good luck! :-)
for a start, congrats!!i have so many friends that are wimps and wont even do it!!lol

ok so what you need to do is get some tweezers and get all the little ones out the ones too tiny for the wax! and yes the tingling will still be a bit tomorrow but by thursday all gone and smooth. also moisturise the area as that will help alot and keep it baby soft. it will then grow back in about 3 weeks.

Veet cold strips is what i use and there brilliant! good luck!!!

  • Brazilian Wax Help?

I just had a Brazilian wax done at the salon yesterday. Today when I got up I have red blood bumps, they don't hurt but it's annoying and ugly right now. Any advice would be appreciated.Brazilian Wax Help?
If you havent done it before then I would expect that. I use moisturising cream, and that helps. If you go often, you'll find this problems disappears.Brazilian Wax Help?
Ouch! Your brave! Firstly, don't put anything on them incase you get a further irritation, might have to wear knickers with the type of material that doesn't irritate it. If your brave enough, ask a female pharmacist if she can give you any ointment to put on to help get rid. Good luck xx
Those bumps are where the hair follicle was ripped out of your skin. The salon worker who did your wax job should have informed you of what was gonna happen. They will clear up in a few days.
    powder!

if the hair was longer than 1/2 inch i'll bet the wax didn't take all the hair away and it will be growing back quickly.

either that or the wax was too hot and gave you 'hickeys' (it goes away within a couple of days)

the hair needs to be between 1/4 and 1/2 inch. no longer and no shorter.

next time you get waxed take in an asprin and a small bowl. crush the asprin in the bowl and mix in a few drops of cold water. when the strip is ripped off apply a cotton ball or pad dipped in the asprin mix. it will help reduce any redness or swelling and the cold feels so good on it.
I'm assuming its the first time you've had it done. The more times you do it, the less irritation you will get as the skin gets used to the hair being ripped out.

Brazilian Wax Dilemma - Chicken Skin?

I got a brazilian wax yesterday and after, the skin was swollen and a bit painful in the area. It also had chicken skin on it :( Will this fade out? What can i apply to the area? Will Hirudoid work?Brazilian Wax Dilemma - Chicken Skin?
For me it always works a gel with aloe vera, dont worry it will fade out sooner than you think. :) Tomorrow it will be a lot better!! Good luck and try laser!!Brazilian Wax Dilemma - Chicken Skin?

    Brazilian Wax?

I went and had a brazilian done last week and it looks good but it hurt like a sonofab*tch. Does it really get less painful on successive visits? And is it really worth it? Is the male appreciation factor equal or greater than the pain factor?

    Thanks!Brazilian Wax?
I usually take a couple of Advil an hour before my appointment. There's some gel that's supposed to numb the area but it never works for me. Make sure you don't go around the time of your period, it hurts worse then. No, it's not worth it. My bf barely noticed when I got it done the first time.

I prefer waxing to shaving. It lasts longer and it's alot less irritating as it grows back. And it grows back thinner when you wax! BONUS!!Brazilian Wax?
    very educational....

Buy the liquid laser system from Serious Skin Care. It's awesome for brazilians, leaves no bumps or irritation and is TOTALLY painless. An extra benefit is hair grows back thinner and less frequently with continued use because of the after treatment moisurizer. :)
i havnt got a wax down there but i got my eyebrows done n its sorta the same thing. it hurts n takes a while to feel better but it'll be less painful every otha visit just dont wait along time cuz then it hurts like a b*tch
I've never waxed down there before but i do get my legs waxed %26amp; after a period of time it didn't hurt as much as it did the first few times.
The reason it hurts so much is probably because you were shaving before. When you shave, the roots get stronger, hair grows thicker and faster. With time, it becomes less and less painless, unless you shave between, cause than it will hurt like the first time. Good luck
It should get less painful everytime. I do it myself w/an at-home kit. The hair grows back thinner and finer, so each time you have less and less hair to remove. I think its worth it bc, like you, I have very sensitive skin there.. and you dont have to worry about the hair bc it grows back slower!!
Why not just shave.........it doesnt hurt??
